Industrial High Speed Doors — Speed-Master® 1600

The Speed-Master 1600 industrial high speed door includes the following standard features:

Bulldog XT panel material with full-width transparent PVC vision area. Colors: Blue, black, orange and gray.
Quick Connect™ HFC1 programmable contverter control box with NEMA 4 enclosure. Includes plug-in cable connectors to control box. Optional hard-wired control box available.
230v or 460v/3 phase/60 Hz direct-drive motor with soft start/stop technology.
Panel reversing electric contact edge.
Opening speed of up to 60" per second.
Bottom aluminum profile with impact breakaway tabs.
Patented interlocking anodized aluminum hinge profile sections.
Low-profile guide tracks are galvanized steel, one-piece construction with replaceable dual brush style draft seals. Optional hinged, enamel painted steel guide tracks with Full-height nylon brush seals are available.
Horizontal top draft seal.
Two panel reversing photocells.
7'0" light curtain safety option enhances safety through a series of continuous light beams that shine across the door opening from the floor up to 7'0" of height, providing added safety for personnel and goods.

The Speed-Master ® 1600 industrial high speed door represents the best of the original Speed-Master Series, advanced to the next level of competitiveness. Ten times faster than a conventional overhead door, the Speed-Master 1600 is recommended for the following applications:

Universal for both interior and interior to exterior doorways.
Recommended for door sizes between 14' W x 16' H
Fast opening speed of up to 60" per second promotes energy savings.

High Performance

The Speed-Master 1600 features aluminum hinge profiles, which act as built-in windbars for wind and negative pressure conditions.

Reliable Performance

The rugged direct-drive motor is maintenance free and built to offer reliable performance. It operates the door at a speed of 60" per second up and 30" per second down without the use of tensioning springs or counterbalance assemblies.

Simplified Set-Up
The Speed-Master 1600 features our exclusive Quick Connect™ HFC1 plug-in control box. This easy and convenient system for powering up the Speed-Master is based upon fourth generation German technology, providing the product sustainability customers want.

Bulldog XT Panel Material
Our panel material is puncture and tear-resistant, maintains its flexibility to -20 F, and is available in a choice of four attractive colors.

Automatic Breakaway Feature
In the event of accidental impact, the Speed-Master 1600 high speed industrial door is designed to “pop” out of its guide tracks to help prevent damage to the door panel. This feature works in both directions of operation.

Trusted 5 & 2 Warranty Protection

We stand behind the Speed-Master's performance capabilities with a five year limited warranty on both the motor and panel material. All other mechanical and electrical components are warranted against defects for a period of two years.
