PTR Self-Contained Compactors

Craft offers three standard self-contained compactor models which are designed for applications requiring waste liquid to be retained in a trash compactor unit. The self-contained compactors can be selected most appropriately by finding the compactor which will accommodate your waste volume needs as well as your space availability. Our compactors are available in sizes of 12, 20, 30, and 35 cubic yards. Total U.L. approval offered on select Stationary and Self-Contained Compactor Models.

Innovative "one-piece" construction:

Wear and tear on compactors typically occurs at the seams of welded pieces of steel. Craft helps reduce this wear and tear by using fewer and larger pieces of pre-formed steel. The overall construction of our compactor requires fewer welds thus preventing the possibility of weld cracks and separation. The "one piece" steel door plate, container sides, and box construction ensure that our compactors are built to last for many years. With a 92,000 PSI tensile strength, the welds are actually stronger than steel and performed by AWS certified welders.

Clean Flush Sump System:

Our Clean Flush Sump System is a large 750 gallon sump that features “Trash Flow” design allowing materials to funnel from behind the plate.

XTRA Welding:

The Compactor and container are both continuously welded inside and out.

Positive Triple Action Locking Mechanism:

The door locking system has been specially designed to provide complete compression on our seal while allowing for easy to open and close operation.

Concave Doors:

TRASHMASTER design allows trash to roll up the inside of the compactor door allowing for denser loads to be compacted. Continuous welding and SURE-TITE seal on the inside and outside of Craft's compactor units ensures that there will be no fluid leakage from your container. To guarantee a "leak proof" environment, the examination goes the extra step of filling each self-contained compactor with 3,500 gallons of water to test for liquid retention. This uniquely designed seal forms a "three point" contact with the container so that liquids are secured within the compactor.
